Grand Illusion takes place on the stage of a gilded theatre around 1905: crimson curtains, footlights and an illusionist in white tie with his props, from linking rings to a crystal ball.
Wins pay for a symbol on 3 to 5 reels next to each other from the left, anywhere on each reel, over 1,024 ways; the golden joker is wild on reels 2 to 5. On some spins the illusionist saws 1 to 5 symbols in two or three, and each copy counts as a symbol. 3, 4 or 5 top hats pay 2x, 5x or 20x the bet and start 8, 10 or 12 free spins, where every symbol can split and 3 top hats add 5 spins.
